Woodland

Our client already has various parts to their garden which we have designed however the woodland area was very special. We came up with idea of a woodland walk through which takes you to a seating area that our clients can enjoy in the Summer months to escape the hot weather.

The area needed 12 tonnes of soil improver and 20 tonne bags of bark. The planting was chosen for the soil type, aspect and all year-round interest. Betula trees were added for their white bark that look beautiful in the Winter and shows off the red stems from the under planted Cornus. Lots of Ferns, Euphorbia, Anemones and Foxgloves were added to the borders to provide a mixture of colours along with Sedum and Salvia in the sunnier of spots.
