Old Allotment

This was a very satisfying project for us. We had a call from a lovely lady who had recently lost her husband. There were two sections of her garden; the first being a beautiful turf and flower garden leading up to a huge section of land that used to be an allotment. Unfortunately, this area was now rarely used and was becoming extremely high maintenance. We suggested laying it lawn with beautiful borders either side to complement the planting in the lower garden.

Ben did a great job of clearing it all and prepping the borders ready for planting and he laid new lawn which looked beautiful and made the garden feel even bigger.

We chose a mixture of shrubs and perennials that will look great all year round. The perennials will not need much maintenance either and will only need cutting back once in the Summer and again in the Spring.
