Borrowed Landscape

Wow what a view! The garden was designed around the stunning scenery and had to include an entertaining area that works all year round. The client also requested easy to maintain hard landscaping and low maintenance planting.

Ben proposed to use a mixture of sandstone paving and gravel with the slabs as stepping stones which breaks up the pathway to the main seating area. On both sides of the garden double raised borders were built in order for our client to be able to sit and prune the plants. The fencing was from The Garden Trellis Company. The quality is outstanding and comes in a range of colours. It was important that whatever we used didn’t compromise the view.

Camen made the solid oak pergola and the customers were thrilled. It had to be a certain size and he made sure that every inch of the structure was perfect.

The lighting and heating were also crucial to the build as it has to work for the Summer months as well as the Winter. Warren suggested wireless controls in order that the lights could be switched on so you can see where you are going in the dark and specialist heaters for the chillier evenings.
